Pace University is a Private co-educational and nonsectarian university established in 1906. Pace campuses are located in New York City and Westchester County, New York. The campuses are connected by a shuttle transportation service provided by the university. The schools and colleges include Dyson College of Arts & Sciences, Lubin School of Business, Adult & Continuing Education, School of Education, School of Law, The College of Health Professions, Pforzheimer Honors College, Seidenberg School of Computer Science & Information Systems, and World Trade Institute of Pace University. Near the University’s New York City campus, there is a Pace high school.
The facilities include Women’s Justice Center in Yonkers, New York and on the law school campus. The Michael Schimmel Center for the Arts is the principal theatre of Pace University and is located in Lower Manhattan where the University’s New York City campus lies. There are Fitness and Recreation Center, weight/fitness room, Goldstein Health, Pace’s athletic facilities, eight-lane swimming pool, meeting rooms, training room, locker rooms, equipment room, aerobics/dance room, and offices of the athletics department.
The Setters is Pace’s sports teams while Setter is the University’s mascot. There are fourteen intercollegiate varsity sports sponsored by Pace University. Baseball, cross country, dance, soccer, softball, basketball, cheerleading, lacrosse, volleyball, football, and swimming & diving are sports that students can participate in.
Scholarships and grants
There are number of generous financial support program from Pace university for graduate and undergraduate students to help them to pay school tuition including grants, students loans, grants and many more. They are based on the student academic merit and financial need. There are about USD19,045 institutional support offered for undergraduate students and USD303 Million for Pace students. There are about 95% first year Pace students who receive financial support.
Pace University help students to find a variety of housing within a five-block radius of the campus that suit their interests. By supporting residential program for its students, Pace help to create a supportive environment so they can live and study to achieve academic success. This makes the university to achieve 1st national rank in New York City and 3rd rank for Online Bachelor Program. To help you strengthen leadership skills, Pace provide opportunities by allowing them to become the member of Student Government Association Board. Or students can become part of student ambassador to feel the spirit, fun and positive experience in campus.
